Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Raleigh is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Unfortunately, I canβt say whether I recommend this restaurant because we never got the chance to actually try the food. My family and I were looking forward to trying their pho and bΓ‘nh xΓ¨o, but we ultimately decided to leave voluntarily due to the lack of service. What was most disappointing was watching other tables that were seated after us receive attention and service while our table continued to be overlooked. There appeared to be several waiters and waitresses working at the time, so it was frustrating that no one checked on us or took our order. I may give them another try in the future because I was genuinely interested in trying their food, but our first experience was definitely disappointing. Hopefully, the service will be better if we decide to return.

Midtown Pho is hands down one of the best spots in Raleigh! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistently amazing. The service is top-tier, and the staff makes you feel like familyβthey actually remember their regulars, which says a lot. The restaurant is always clean, the atmosphere is fun and welcoming, and every visit is a great experience. Whether youβre stopping in for a quick lunch or dinner with friends, you wonβt be disappointed. If you havenβt tried Midtown Pho yet, youβre definitely missing out

Excellent choice for pho in Raleigh. Itβs been a hit or miss all over Raleigh. BUT, this place hits you right in the face with the pho aromas. So many pho places miss this one key ingredient! A little tight but still a really nice and cool spot. Pho broth was tasty. Savory and the spices are well incorporated! Unlike a few other pho spots right around the corner that are just Americanized, you get the traditional tendons here. I donβt understand why Raleigh pho refuses to add the tripe!!!??? Charlotte pho will always be better imo but even theirs are mediocre. Nonetheless, this place is a breath of fresh air. The extra clean bathrooms are a plus!!!

The food is really good here and the portion sizes are large especially the rice based dishes. The pho is really good too.
